Bhatia brings more than two decades of experience in financial services and technology. Banking Circle said his appointment will support its strategy as demand for digital assets, tokenisation and stablecoins continues to grow. The company plans to expand its digital asset capabilities, giving clients the ability to manage fiat and digital assets side by side. Its Singapore subsidiary, BC Payments Singapore, has received in-principle approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore for a Major Payment Institution licence.
