Maddi trains at the Factory Gym in Witham to improve her muscle strength. Matthew Riggs, 38, is a motivational speaker and influencer from Basildon, organised the match alongside his friend Steven Barrett who trains at Factory Gym. A team of weightlifters from Factory Gym played against celebrities who have appeared in Eastenders, Ted Lasso, Call the Midwife, The Gentlemen as well as ex-professional footballers, and comedians. Carina Thurgood, Maddi’s mum, worked closely with Matt and Steven to organise the event alongside Jordan Fern at Factory Gym. Maldon and Tiptree FC, Factory Gym Witham, and Ripped Gym Basildon were all thanked for their efforts.
