Judges for the National Fish and Chip Awards 2026 have revealed the 10 top chippies around the country. While there is a range of categories, No 1 Cromer is in the running for the biggest prize - Restaurant of the Year. The staff at No 1 Cromer reacted to the news on social media, saying: "We’re proud to share that No 1 Cromer has been named in the National Fish & Chip Federation Top 10! No 1 Cromer, despite opening in 2013, can trace its origins back to Spencer Gray’s family heritage in fishing since 1842.
