Visitors are encouraged to meet at the Hay Barn, located 30 miles west of Laramie in the scenic Centennial Valley. Home to more than 350 BLM wild horses, Deerwood Ranch is a privately operated sanctuary dedicated to caring for the horses. Throughout the day, BLM representatives will be on site to answer questions and approve adoption applications. Guests can enjoy a smoked meat lunch provided by Dave Herring from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with proceeds benefiting the Shawn Herring Memorial Foundation.
