Ahead of Saturday’s matchup with Wyoming, CU head coach Deion Sanders said he had made a decision on which of the group will suit up as the starter but he’s keeping it to himself. The only thing the head coach would say is that he’s looking for leadership and consistency. McKinney said the message from Coach Sanders to his players, this week, was to execute to the best of their ability. Head coach Sanders said his team came to practice ready to go and he’s looking forward to a better performance this week. The CU head coach also talked about the Cowboys wanting to come into Boulder this week with the proverbial chip on their shoulder and looking to take down the Buffs.
