Roly’s Run, set in the Meon Valley and taking place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, is held in memory of Rich "Roly" Walklate, who died suddenly in May 2018 at the age of 33 from suspected sepsis.
Despite being active and fit, Mr Walklate fell critically ill over a weekend and died within a week.
One of the organisers Steve Walklate said: "Numbers are good, but we are just six weeks away now, so we are encouraging people to sign up.
In his memory, Roly’s best friend Carlos launched Roly’s Run, which has since grown each year.
These organisations were chosen because of Roly’s personal health experiences and the suspected cause of his death.
