The Boaz Fun Day and Trail Run returned on Saturday, September 27, at Hill Farm in Sutton Scotney, raising funds and awareness for the Boaz Project, a farm-based day service supporting adults with learning disabilities. Despite grey skies, the rain held off long enough for participants to enjoy 2km, 5km and 10km trail runs through the Hampshire countryside. Live entertainment was provided by Rubik’s Cube, a rock choir from Osborne School in Winchester that combines singing with Makaton sign language. Stuart Palmer, general manager at Boaz, said: "Days like this capture what Boaz is all about: creating opportunities, breaking down barriers, building friendships and fun." He said the event was a great way to reach new supporters and introduce them to the Boaz community.
