Governor Brad Little has announced the appointment of Pete Koehler to the Idaho State Board of Education. A Parma native, Koehler brings more than two decades of military and public education leadership experience to the Idaho State Board of Education. Koehler served as Senior Deputy Superintendent and Chief of Staff at the Idaho State Department of Education. Koehler holds degrees from the University of Idaho and Boise State University along with administrator certification from Northwest Nazarene University. “I am honored to join the Idaho State Board of Education and to continue serving the people of our state.
