News Headline -As Nigeria marks 65 years of independence, PROVOQIT Transparency & Accountability Project, says the anniversary is an opportunity to chart a bold course envisioned by the founding fathers of Nigeria.
The Executive Director, Prince Tochukwu Okorie, in a press statement said Nigeria is blessed with vast natural resources, rich cultural diversity, and unmatched human talent.
He however said, 65 years after the promise remains largely unfulfilled, adding that cycles of optimism and setbacks, pervasive corruption, insecurity, and weak public institutions continue to erode trust and opportunity.
“Peace and justice are prerequisites for progress, requiring security reforms, community engagement, and swift justice to end impunity.
” As we commemorate this day, PROVOQIT renews its commitment to provoking conversations, empowering citizens, and driving reforms that make governance open, transparent, and accountable,”he said.
