The office of the Service-Safety Director, Wes Dodds, announces the leaf pick up schedule for the city of Bellefontaine:• Oct. 20, 21 and 22 — North of Columbus Avenue and east of Main Street;• Oct. 23, 24 and 27 — South of Columbus Avenue and east of Main Street;• Oct. 28 and 29 — South of Columbus Avenue and west of Main Street; and• Oct. 30 and 31 — North of Columbus Avenue and west of Main Street. After this schedule is completed a second round is tentatively scheduled as follows:• Nov. 3, 4 and 5 —Northeast sector;• Nov. 6, 7 and 10 — Southeast sector;• Nov. 12 and 13 — Southwest sector; and• Nov. 14 and 17 — Northwest sector. Do not park your vehicles in front of the piles, where the city’s leaf machine cannot get to the leaves. Remember, by law, the regular refuse collection is not allowed to pick up leaves or any other yard waste.
