First look inside Glasgow’s new Uniqlo store as doors open

The Japanese retail giant has added a second Scottish store to its 22 UK locations, following a grand opening on Edinburgh’s Princes Street last year.
Located on Argyle Street, Uniqlo’s store spans approximately 1,100 square meters across two floors and aims to “regenerate” the city centre shopping scene.
The store is packed with some of Uniqlo’s most popular products, including their LifeWear range for men, women, kids and babies.
STV NewsSTV NewsSTV NewsThe brand has also partnered with Tunnocks to create an exclusive range of tote bags and scarves featuring images of caramel wafers and tea cakes, available for a limited time.
Alessandro Dudech, chief operating officer at Uniqlo UK, said: “We are excited to open our new store on Argyle Street, one of Scotland’s most iconic and historic shopping destinations.
