Nghe An (VNA) - Nghe An aims to become a relatively developed province in the country, a national-level growth pole, and the centre of the northern central region by 2030, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Le Hong Vinh delivered the political report at the 20th provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 tenure. The province will also shift strongly from extensive growth to intensive growth, with focus on developing the green economy, digital economy, marine economy, circular economy, high-tech industry, and high-quality services; and prioritising rapid breakthrough development in the eastern area and sustainable development in the western area of the province. The political report sets out 39 specific targets, five key tasks, and three breakthrough priorities in terms of institutional reform, human resources development, and in infrastructure development for the 2025–2030 term. Trac advised Nghe An to pay attention to planning, and planning management and implementation; and urgently adjust and supplement planning to align with new regional and spatial development orientations and strategies.
