Dublin's long-awaited Metrolink has been given the go ahead. The underground railway project has been granted planning permission three years after an application was lodged. "I'm delighted at long last we have a planning permission now in relation to Metrolink. "This project will transform not just Dublin, but the whole region, and it will drive further economic growth and improve people's quality of life. It's been too long in the making and what I'm really focused on now is delivering it.
