October 2, 2025 | 11:25 amIrish Rail is cancelling some upgrade works due to Storm Amy. The company will now run normal DART and train services this weekend on the Rosslare line, as it was due to replace a bridge between Dun Laoighaire and Grestones. However, track renewal works between Portlaoise and Thurles and Mallow and Cork will go ahead, with the company offering bus transfers for affected services on Sunday. Tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday there will be disruption to services into and out of Galway, with bus transfers also being provided.
