Between July and September, environmental health officers visited food premises across the borough, handing out ratings based on food handling, cleanliness and safety standards. Two businesses were given a hygiene score of 0, meaning urgent improvement is necessary. The ratings follow inspections by Croydon Council under the Food Standards Agency’s national scheme.
