A Waterloo man is facing several charges after police say he attacked someone during a domestic dispute and destroyed their phone when they tried to get help. He’s charged with third-degree criminal mischief, attempted third-degree assault, and criminal obstruction of breathing. According to police, Peek struck the victim in the face and put his hands around their neck, preventing them from breathing.
