Christopher Storrie was in the back of a police vehicle en route to Dunfermline Police Station when he began shouting, swearing and acting aggressively on October 26 last year. Storrie, of Old Course Gate, Musselburgh, also repeatedly uttered threats of violence towards two officers during the journey. The 44-year-old pleaded guilty when he appeared from custody at Edinburgh Sheriff Court last Monday. Sheriff Francis Gill initially issued Storrie with a £470 fine but, when told he could not pay, the sheriff imposed a 14-day jail term instead.
