The Brunton and Haddstock are teaming up to bring a fresh programme of live music to the Corn Exchange in Haddington, beginning on October 4 with a headline show featuring Mercury Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Kathryn Williams and Withered Hand, the stage name of Scottish musician Dan Willson. A spokesperson for The Brunton said: "Brunton Theatre Trust operates the Corn Exchange as The Brunton’s venue in Haddington. Kathryn Williams has released 16 albums and collaborated with the likes of poet Dame Carol Ann Duffy, author Laura Barnett, and musicians Paul Weller, Neill MacColl, and Michele and Romeo Stodart. Withered Hand has built a loyal following over 15 years through three albums, multiple EPs and international tours, all while remaining rooted in the underground and DIY music scene. Directors of Haddstock said: "We're excited to be partnering with The Brunton to host these fantastic artists.
