In a studio pulsing with the sounds of ABBA and Donna Summer, artist Nnena Kalu wraps, twists, and layers old VHS tape and colourful fabric into striking sculptural forms. Disco music is more than background noise – for Kalu it’s a driving force. The result? Sculptures and drawings that are as joyful and rhythmic as they are radical.
