Aer Lingus launch new Dublin to Newark route.
Aer Lingus newest Airbus 330-300, EI FNG, which had arrived in Dublin form Torulouse the previous day, served the route.
Three new transatlantic aircraft have joined the Aer Lingus fleet this year and as previously announced two new Airbus A330s will be delivered in 2017.
Declan Kearney, Aer Lingus director of communications, said: “We are delighted to commence our new direct service from Dublin to Newark, New Jersey.
Fares from Dublin to Newark start from €209 for travel between November 2016 and March 2017.
