The Welsh success was led by Dewi Jenkins, claiming the supreme championship with Clwyd Bob and taking third place with Jock, sandwiching Kevin Evans’ Bryn Moel Jet as reserve champion. Dewi and Bob worked together at the shed and a clean pen completed the winning run with authority and 611pts. Dewi said: “It was a pleasure to shed with Bob, I had confidence he would hold his side, while I walked to the other side. Dewi continued: “I will remember nine-year-old Jock’s drive for time to come.” Dewi first won the supreme championship in 2022, with Jock. Brace (Judges: I McMillan, Scot; C Evans, W; A Blackmore, Eng; E McAuley, Ire).
