The nation’s largest dairy prize fund of £25,000 is back, alongside two new Youngstock Classes sponsored by The Saskatoon Colostrum Company Ltd, celebrating and encouraging the next generation of breeders.
Director and long-standing Jersey steward Robert Hunter confirmed Iwan Morgan of Nantybwla, Carmarthen, as this year’s judge:“Each year, AgriScot sees incredible enthusiasm from young breeders.
Evening Holsteins, winners of the 2023 and 2024 SuperCow titles with Evening Sidekick Jennifer EX95, are aiming for a historic third win:“AgriScot is one of our favourite shows.
Chairman Gilmour Lawrie said: “As AgriScot grows, the dairy section remains special.
I wish all exhibitors luck and encourage early entry for this ever-popular event.”Accommodation applications close Friday 10 October, and cattle entries close Friday 17 October.
