A planning application in principle has been submitted to Scottish Borders Council for a potato storage building at Swinwood Mill Farm. The building would be used to store and distribute potatoes. “The proposed location is to the south of the existing buildings and filter trench, on hardstanding with access via the existing farm road. “The proposed building will be used for agricultural (potato) purposes only. No external plant is required.”
