North Wales Police's Rural Crime Team say a 'vicious livestock attack' has taken place in the Pontfadog area. A sheep was attacked and killed by a dog during the incident, which occurred in a field adjacent to Pendre Farm on Tuesday, September 16. The sheep is believed to have been chased prior to the attack, in which it sustained fatal neck injuries. PC Ian Nicholls of the RCT said: “Based on the sheep's injuries, the attack appears to have been inflicted by a large, powerful dog."
