Basildon-born Sophie Sugrue has taken the competition by storm with her "rogue plant-based food" and will push to be crowned this series' top cook before judges. The 25-year-old will now face-off against stiff competition in the Final Four leg at 8pm on BBC One tomorrow. "I’d describe my style of cooking as rogue plant-based food. I didn’t stop eating meat because I didn’t like it, I just didn’t want to eat animals anymore. Sophie's love of showcasing the potential of different ingredients and embracing different cuisines stemmed from watching MasterChef with her parents.
