They will typically charge an electric vehicle to 80 per cent in around 30 minutes, which will allow drivers time to visit Nandos, Wagamama or Costa on the same site. ‌The opening comes just weeks after another EV charging hub with 12 connectors was set up by by Allego in Uttoxeter Road, in Longton. Latest figures suggest there are 1,500 electric vehicles in Stoke-on-Trent - with that number expected to rise to 58,000 in five years.
