On Friday, the University of Michigan Presidential Search Advisory Committee held a virtual student-listening session to gather feedback on the presidential search process. Rackham student Angelica Previero, mediator for the event, began the session by establishing the importance of student opinions in the presidential search process. “Our focus is to gather your valuable insight to inform the search process,” Previero said. “All input that is provided during the listening session will be collected, carefully reviewed and be used by the advisory committee to inform the presidential search process”The session consisted of two sections, beginning with the hosts asking attendees specific questions and ending with an open discussion portion. … All of those things are really valued by the student body, and the faculty and staff as well.
