Each September, Ann Arbor’s downtown streets transform into pedestrian zones from Thursday night through Monday morning for A2 Fall Streets. Downtown Main, Liberty and Washington Streets are blocked to cars for the occasion, extending the city’s summer outdoor traditions well into autumn. Outbound Packard, an Ann Arbor cover band, played at A2 Fall Streets on Sept. 4. “Fall Streets helps show how joyous and vibrant community spaces can be without cars!” Larson wrote. “We helped Main Street with the promotion for the event, including flyers and social media posts,” Kotlapati wrote.
