The Central Railway authorities confirmed that another train was passing towards the opposite side, causing the accident. Meanwhile, the Railway Board has stated that all rakes under manufacturing for Mumbai Suburban will have automatic door closer facilities. "All rakes in service will be redesigned and auto-door closure facility will be provided in these rakes of Mumbai Suburban", the officials sais following the Mumbra train accident Monday.
