DEARBORN — A traditionally-intense boys’ soccer rivalry in the Downriver League was revisited for a second time Wednesday evening when Brownstown Woodhaven traveled to Dearborn Edsel Ford for a league position round matchup. “I liked that they finished the game and won it,” Edsel head coach Mohamed Alrayyashi said after the win. “I don’t like that (Woodhaven) scored the two goals to make it close but overall, I think they played well. Understandably aware of the possibility that his team tightens up in a suddenly close game, Alrayyashi got the much-needed response to regain control of the match. “I saw a good amount of perseverance through the ebbs and flows of the game,” Konja said.
