Flour Moon Bagels, the bakery known for photo-ready New York-style bagels, is planning to open a food truck on Tulane University’s Uptown campus this fall. Outside of bagels, toppings and spreads, the food truck will carry a limited version of Flour Moon’s other menu items, including their popular breakfast sandwich and chopped cheese. Flour Moon was founded in 2020 by Kostyk, inspired by her time in college in Brooklyn, New York, out of Kostyk’s home kitchen. When the bagel shop in Mid-City became popular among students, Hinson and Kostyk started looking at getting their own footprint on Tulane’s campus. “We’re hoping, if they like the product, that they’ll come experience the shop.”For students who are new to Flour Moon, Kostyk recommends the breakfast sandwich.
