Renia Lewis, a 28-year-old resident of Vallejo, was reported missing on September 28, 2025. VPD officers immediately launched a search, completed a missing person’s report, and entered her information into the statewide database. Based on new information, detectives returned to the 14th Street residence with a search warrant. During a more thorough search, officers discovered a concealed entry to the attic. Following his arrest, Shaw provided a statement to detectives, admitting responsibility for the “heinous crime.” He has been booked into the Solano County Jail for murder.
