The ticket checking initiative is part of Northern Railway’s broader strategy to maintain order and discipline on trains while safeguarding the revenue of the railways. The revenue generated through these ticket checking operations is expected to be utilised for improving services and amenities for passengers in the Jammu Division. Passengers have been urged to cooperate with ticket checking staff and ensure they travel with valid tickets at all times.
