I would vote for Eben Sargent to serve on the Haines Borough Assembly a thousand times—to be a contributing vote in the decisions that steer our community where we want to be. After two years of witnessing him at planning commission meetings, I am continually impressed and inspired by his thoroughness. The questions he asks both while preparing for and during meetings are at all times expository and considerate of individual factors. Moreover he has contributed significantly to proactive plan making for our future while building strong relationships working with borough staff. I believe that his balanced perspectives and careful explorations make electing him to the assembly a strong move for everyone.
