Unfortunately, my bad luck didn’t just snowball—it formed an avalanche. Luck, and especially bad luck, is unequivocally real, and I’m living proof that it’s not the devil we think it is. Truth be told, bad luck doesn’t make much sense; that’s the point. The magical elixir I was hoping she could sell me to cure all bad luck ailments lies, disappointingly and anticlimactically, in my own actions. So I use my bad luck as a crutch, and it helps me move forward.
