Local residents will have an opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous household materials, electronic waste and tires during a community recycling event Saturday, Oct. 4. The Fall Household Hazardous Waste, E-Waste & Tire Recycling Day will take place from 8 a.m. to noon, or until capacity is reached, at the Oakdale Public Services Corp Yard, 455 S. Fifth St. (enter on J Street). The event is sponsored by the City of Oakdale, Stanislaus County and CalRecycle.
