In his first playoff start of his MLB career, Red Sox left-handed pitcher Garrett Crochet showed that he was truly made for the moment.The Ocean Springs alum started for Boston Tuesday night during their Wildcard game againts the New York Yankees. Through 7 2/3 innings, Crochet allowed four hits, one earned run, no bases on balls, and struck out 11 batters, earning his first ever playoff win. On the season, Crochet improves to 18-5, a 2.95 ERA, and 255 strikeouts. Congratulations to the former Greyhound on all of his recent success in the Major Leagues!
