The event, at Elgar's Birthplace Museum, Crown East Lane, Lower Broadheath, will offer visitors the chance to wander through the orchard, hear stories from a cider maker, and enjoy apple-themed games. Attendees can also take a bag and select their own apples straight from the trees. The event, which is free with standard admission, will take place on Saturday, October 25, from 10am to 4.30pm. The Firs is open Friday – Monday (10am – 4.30pm) until November 2, when opening hours change.
