HOBART, Wis. (WFRV) – The Hobart Village Board of Trustees met on Wednesday evening to discuss potentially purchasing 7-8 acres of the Joe DeNoble Sewer & Water Construction property for the Hobart Municipal Center. The discussion centered around the idea of using the land for a new police station and new village hall, with construction on each beginning in 2028 and 2028-29, respectively. The current Village Hall is still planned to be kept by the Board, with potential ideas of a museum or activity center taking its place; however, Village President Heidel said it’s a secondary nature at this moment in time.
