The migration under discussion here refers to the migration of the devoted Sahabah (companions) of Prophet Muhammad (saws) from Makkah to Abyssinia (Ethiopia). According to Ibn Kathir, the first group of emigrants included 11 male companions (ra) and 4 female companions (ra) (Al-Seerah Al-Nabawiyyah, Ibn Kathir 2/3).
