Santa Barbara County’s Coastal Cleanup Day drew nearly 1,000 volunteers to 30-plus sites from Rincon to Jalama on Saturday, Sept. 20.
Elsa Winter, Coastal Cleanup Day coordinator for Explore Ecology, said “This year’s Coastal Cleanup Day was such a poignant reminder to me of how special it is to be part of a community.
Explore Ecology extends its gratitude to everyone who made this event a huge success.
In Santa Barbara County, Coastal Cleanup Day is organized by Explore Ecology and the Santa Barbara County Resource Recovery and Waste Management, with support from the cities of Santa Barbara, Goleta and Solvang.
