Nearly 100 residents attended a public meeting at the Haydon Cue Club on Tuesday, September 16, to discuss a planning application to build up to 115 new homes. The Local Plan allows for 340 homes in Radstock between 2011 and 2029. They add: "An additional 115 homes would far exceed Radstock’s contribution and its proportional share of the Somer Valley housing requirement." Plus, the impact of additional traffic into a system where there is already a bottle neck at the junction of Church Street and the Street."
