A keen baker, Fionnuala began to withdraw from the joys of life as her mental health declined. Referred by her GP to Lighthouse Belfast, counselling services by the charity have proved to be a lifeline for Fionnuala. “Lighthouse delivers its services free of charge to those in need, which is why it’s so important that fundraising events such as Lighthouse’s ‘Arthouse by Lighthouse’ event are promoted and well-supported,” added Fionnuala. Inspired by the charity’s success in art therapy, Lighthouse has just launched its first-ever Arthouse by Lighthouse fundraising event. On Friday, October 10, Lighthouse will host Arthouse by Lighthouse at the Europa Hotel, Belfast.
