Belfast International Airport enjoyed a significant increase in profitability last year as passenger numbers reached record levels. It made 2024 Belfast International Airport’s most profitable year since 2001. Belfast International’s previous annual passenger record stood at 6.286 million from 2018. The latest annual accounts for Belfast International Airport Limited state £69.6m had been drawn down by the end of 2024. Looking ahead, the airport said its expects passenger numbers in 2025 to remain on par with the record levels witnessed in 2024.
