Canonteign Falls is a truly spectacular natural attraction nestled near Chudleigh, just outside Exeter. I began my journey at Lily Lake (following a quick visit to the conveniently located toilets near the entrance), which is simply stunning. Donning my walking boots, I was eager to see the waterfall, so I followed the well-marked signs towards Lady Exmouth Falls. These guide visitors through a remarkable fern garden where I found myself genuinely struck by the natural aromas. I can sincerely say that this visit was more than worth my time and is a must-visit for anyone in the area.
