A 61-year-old man was driving a blue Volvo articulated lorry when it collided with a blue Mini Cooper on the A30 near Sherborne, in Dorset. The driver on the Mini, a man in his 20s, was seriously injured in the crash. He was taken to Bristol Southmead Hospital by helicopter but died 24 hours later. "Emergency services attended and the driver of the Mini, a Yeovil man aged in his 20s, was taken by air ambulance to Southmead Hospital in Bristol having sustained serious injuries.
