Richie Avigale Ramos-Pilares recently shared her insights on protecting women’s rights and promoting safety and anti-discrimination in the workplace during the first Gender & Diversity Summit organized by the Employers Confederation of the Philippines (ECOP), in partnership with the Confederation of Danish Industry. With the theme of “Forging Commitments for Inclusion: A Business Imperative in the Era of Social Transition,” the landmark event championed the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 5 (Gender Equality), 10 (Reducing Inequalities), and 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), highlighting the private sector’s pivotal role in advancing gender equality and diversity while fostering sustainable economic growth.
