According to the Minnesota Secretary of State, there are 38 city and school district regular elections on ballots around the state in addition to 79 special elections. ADVERTISEMENTThree west central Minnesota school districts are conducting special elections: Voters in the Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City, Benson and Minnewaska Area school districts will decide ballot questions. ADVERTISEMENTIt would bring in $300,000 a year for 10 years, totaling about $3 million, according to referendum information on the school district website at benson.k12.mn.us. Voters in the Minnewaska Area School District will decide whether to approve $25 million in school building bonds. For those voting in areas with mail-in ballots only, ballots can still be returned until 8 p.m. on Election Day.
