CLOUD — The Herb Brooks National Hockey Center was struck by a bullet on Sunday, Sept. 21, according to a release from the St. The police department responded to a complaint of gunshots around 2:09 p.m. in the area of Sixth Avenue and 13th Street South, according to the release. ADVERTISEMENTOfficers determined that five gunshots from a handgun had been fired in the area, and a stray round struck a second-floor window of the hockey arena, according to the release. “Based on the investigation, it was clear that the National Hockey Center was not the intended target of the gunshots,” the release said. Nobody was injured in the incident, which remains under investigation.
