WILLMAR — The Kandiyohi County Board of Commissioners in a split vote approved a preliminary levy for 2026 that is a 7.1% increase from 2025. The preliminary levy was approved 3-2 during a special budget meeting Tuesday with the intention of continuing work as the county approaches budget deadlines.
